Chef: Good morning.
Mr. Sanders: Good morning.
Chef: Can I offer you an omelet or some eggs? You can have them scrambled or sunny-side up.
There are also hard-boiled eggs on the buffet table and you can order eggs benedict from your
waiter if you like.
Mr. Sanders: I would love to have an omelet. Can you make that with egg whites?
Chef: I sure can. What else would you like in it?
Mr. Sanders: What kinds of cheeses do you have?
Chef: I can offer you Swiss, cheddar, American, mozzarella, gouda, you name it!
Mr. Sanders: Great selection! I’ll have that with Swiss cheese, please.
Chef: Would you like anything else in that? We have mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, ham, bacon…
Mr. Sanders: I’d like mushrooms and ham, please!
Chef: Coming right up. That’ll only take a minute.
Mr. Sanders: Can I have that with onions, please, as well?
Chef: Sure.
Mr. Sanders: That smells delicious.
Chef:I hope so. I’ve been a chef here for years. Breakfast has sort of become my speciality.
Mr. Sanders: Well, I’d imagine with all the people that pass through here, you can probably make
breakfast with your eyes closed.
Chef: Well, it is the most important meal of the day and I’m happy to provide it!
Here you are, one egg white omelet with Swiss cheese, mushrooms, onions and ham.
Mr. Sanders: Thank you very much. Definitely a great way to start the day.
